We have been successful in our application for a grow the game grant of £5000 over 3 years and we have applied for this years payment.
Membership of players now stands at 213 about 30 down on last season
We have received several donations over the closed season
£300 JLR Heating, £300 Rowles butchers, £350 Active Lakes, £105 PWPins, and a kit from Sainsburys
Winter training has been booked at Soccerdome. The pitch fees have unfortunately increased but the total cost has decreased due to using fewer pitches.
Darwen Leisure centre and B/burn Rovers Sports Arena have been booked for the Soccer schools
Sandy Lane rent has increased by £75 per year to £450 but this does cater for 8 teams therefore bringing pitch fees down to £56.25 per year per team.
The pitches at SL are now in the process of being marked out.
Treasurers Report
Last years accounts will be published this week.
At present we hold £9000 in the account
Standing orders are now being paid and a predicted budget will be prepared for next month
Head Coach
There are no available level 1 courses at present
The club have agreed to pay for D. Dawson to take his Uefa B licence at a cost of £500. Neill to discuss with Derek to do coach training along with Ian.

No problems just a few S/O to chase up

Welfare Officers Report
Details of refresher courses for First aid and Child Protection will be sent out in the next couple of weeks to those people involved.
Kit Manager
All kits and equipment ordered early on have now been distributed.
The last order is due in this week and will be distributed by Thursday this includes match balls and kit for U16, U11 and U14 lads.

An appeal was also made for a new Welfare Officer and all coaches asked to see if any parent was willing to take on the role
