Pink Boots

As an incentive for the team this year and to give them a target to aim for I agreed to wear pink boots to training and matches if they reached a double figures points tally. This would be a great movement forward for the lads (the double figures points not the pink boots)
I'm a pretty straight forward bloke and preach to the lads about the good old days of black and white boots (addidas world cup/puma spa king). Pink boots would be my worst nightmare but also a bit of fun. If they get to twenty points I have to dye my hair pink and wear a pink tutu provided by Nicci. If nothing else it has given us a laugh.

Hopefully you should see me in pink boots soon 3 more points gets us to double figures.

Keep going fella's and thanks for the encouragement nick

Can Albino or someone please tell me what Seldon in pink boots is all about? I think he would look well in a matching pink tutu with pink boots! lol!

Well done though to the u15's & good luck to all the rest of the teams.

:) Today i left the game with the biggest smile....No ear ache on the way home yessssss!!! today the under 15s team produced some fabulous football.. passing the ball like professionals and finishing with some fabulous goals... players left this team last year for better teams (well so they thought) We didnt search for our players from better teams.. Sel and Ste worked hard to develop the team we have today. and we are all VERY proud.. well done lads, youve set the standards

Darwen Rangers Boys (u15's)
You boys were superb today, played with quality again and were rewarded for your efforts. Total football on a heavy pitch, excellent.
Well done to Mill Hill, they played their part today. Both teams probably suffered a little from a lack of games near the end as they both tired.
Keep it up guys you've been getting better over the year and you will keep improving -
Seldon in pink boots is slowly becoming a reality.

Hello, Just a quick note to Les and the U9's lads to say Thanks for the wonderful praises heaped upon us. It was a really nice gesture for Les to send our club an email with such nice words. Appreciate it Les!!!! Cheers and Good Luck for the Rest of the Season.... see you Sunday

Darwen Rangers U12 Blue.
Plenty of effort again today. Keep this work up, keep smiling and enjoying your football. You turn up and play every week against teams who have a 2 player advantage. It's tough but it will get better so keep smiling.

Darwen Rangers Boys under 15's. Guys, today I saw you boys play like men with confidence, honesty, integrity, for each other and with skill. Playing from the back on the muddiest pitch in Christendom you played some of the best football I've seen. You should be proud of how you played from the first minute to the last. Brilliant

After last weeks successful skills competition me and Steve ran a doubles comp on Monday night.

The winners were Keiran grendall paired Jayden Hacking.

A great effort by everyone and best of all your 'touch' is coming on. What I did enjoy was watching the lads that had got knocked out just keep practising.

Great banter again. Well done fella's

Me and Steve ran a knockout skills/keepy uppy competition at under 15 Blue training last night and the winner was Danny James (Egg).

Well done Danny!!! Some great touches. Coolest start to a routine was Jayden Hacking.

We will do that again - a good laugh...

Forgot to mention in my match report-the 2 mins silence observed by both teams before todays game-the teams spread out around the centre circle and showed respect, professionalism and maturity.
