JODIE HODSON, CHLOE GREGSON,

Today I saw the signs of a really good football team every single girl put 110% effort in today and I think Great Harwood were very lucky to only concede 3. We were warned before hand that Great Harwood had 2 girls we had to watch out for a striker & strong midfield player. At first I thought theses girls would cause us problems but to be honest our girls handled them with ease and stopped them from being any danger to us at all. The players who stud out to me the most today were the back four I think Great Harwood had only one clear cut chance at goal.
Chelsea as ever was strong and kept her cool were as Ellen was solid in tackles and every ball she kicked reached our forward line every time. Today saw Megan become a bit more aggressive in her tackles, and a bit more of this in every game and the opposition won’t know what’s hit them. Georgie played well and was for ever hassling players and got stuck in as per usual, this left Jemma with hardly anything to do in the net. All the girls were brilliant today Abigail who didn’t stop running and who got 2 goals and 2 MOM awards which were well deserved from the Parents and Great Harwood. Carly and Raine had numerous chances and it is just a matter of time before they bang in loads of goals. Jodie, Sophie and Chloe were also outstanding and created many chances and I thought Jodie and Sophie linked up together very well and make up a good partnership. Well done to Chloe who scored a great goal and has scored in every game so far keep it up.

Overall we seem to be getting our act together especially up front were I saw some great flowing football just need to sort out the final ball sometimes look for another player who might be in a better position than you to finish it off. Try not to be greedy PASS!!! (REMEMBER WE ARE A TEAM)

WELL DONE GIRLS YOU WERE BRILLIANT
HOPEFULLY WE ARE JUST GOING TO GET BETTER AND BETTER

(Ian Moorhouse)
