03/09/2006 - The Future's Bright.....The Future's Blue!!!

The season is now underway with nearly all of our teams starting their league campaigns. The Under 13s and Under 11 Girls 'hit the goal trail', while the Under 17s and Under 12 Lads also opened with victories.  Our most pleasing result was the Under 10 Lads' excellent 4-1 win in the 'battle of the Rangers'! 31/08/2006 - Goodbye and thanks to the Robsons

Keith, Alyson, Josh and Lauren are moving back to Newcastle. We wish them all well and they will be missed by Darwen Rangers.

They are particularly well known by our current Under 9s, as Keith did a great job as manager and Josh was an outstanding player for the team. Last season, Lauren was a keen member of the Soccer School and was set to play for this season's Under 7s.

The club wishes to express its thanks for their excellent contributions.

14/08/2006 - Hat-trick of victories secured

Our U11s Girls won their third consecutive tournament of the summer. Following their triumphs at Euxton and Wigan, they were celebrating again at Lammack on 12th August 2006, keeping a clean sheet in each of their five matches. Winning is becoming a good habit for Chloe Adams, Rebekha Brine, Charlotte Coates, Robyn Hanson-Mahon, Chantelle Mellor, Bethany Pilkington and Chloe Turner.

The Lammack tournament was a very successful one for Darwen Rangers, who also provided the runners-up, the team comprising Sophie Aspin, Carly Brown, Maria Dawood, Libby Gray, Jodie Hodson, Jemma Holden, Chelsea Rolfe and Gemma Seddon.

Welcome to our new official website. Previous pages have been produced in the name of Darwen Rangers by individual managers, but this is the real thing for the whole club!
